Race and Ethnicity Survey
How to take Race and Ethnicity Survey
- Login to MyCoyote Student Self-Service using your MyCoyote ID and Password.
- MyCoyote Student Self-Service home page appears.
- Go to the Personal Information section and click the Race and Ethnicity link.
- Your Demographic Information page appears.
- If you need more information about the Race and Ethnicity Survey, click the link, For more Information Click Here.
- If your race and ethnic background is Hispanic or Latino, choose Yes from the drop-down list. If not, choose No in the same list.
- If you answer is Yes, choose your specific ethnic category from the drop-down list.
- If your choice is OTHER LATINO HISPANIC, type in your specific ethnic category in the following box.
- Regardless of your answer to the question above, select one or more of the groups in which you consider yourself to be a member: (1) American Indian or Alaska Native, (2) Asian, (3) Black or African American, (4) Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and (5) White.
- After choosing one or more from these five groups, type in your specific ethnic category in the following box for your choice(s).
- Question 3 asks your summary race/ethnicity description. Pick the category that best describes your race and ethnicity from the drop-down list.
- After finishing answering all the questions, click the Save button.
How to view your summary Demographic Data
- You can see your summary demographic data on MyCoyote Student Center.
- To go to your Demographic Information page, select Student Center from the drop-down list.
- Click the right arrow.
- In the Student Center page, go to Personal Information section.
- Click the Demographic Data link.
- Your Demographic Information page appears.
- In the Demographic Information page, your survey response shows up.
- If you want to change the current demographic information, you can conduct the survey again. You can revise the information as many times as you want.
- To go to a different page, choose the destination from the drop-down list at the bottom.
