  1. How do I get access to the PeopleSoft system? What about the other systems? (Back to Top)

A Computerized Information Access Request Form must be submitted. You can download the form by clicking on the pdf document from the link above. In order to gain access to the system, you must complete the appropriate training classes for the type of access you are requesting. Once you have turned in your fully signed form and completed the training, the appropriate access will be granted. The Security Administrator will set up the security and will notify the end user when this is complete.

  2. How do I request to suspend or remove my access or the access of a terminated employee? (Back to Top)

A Remove Access Request Form must be submitted. You can download the form by clicking on the pdf document from the link above. Staff/Students/ Faculty who leave the campus on a temporary or permanent basis or who transfer departments must have a Remove request on file. The Supervisor and/or individual is responsible for protecting the integrity of the data systems they have access to. When a temporary or permanent leave of absence or transfer of department occurs a Remove Access Request Form must be submitted to notify the appropriate Security Administrators to lock the access. To re-instate access the CIA form is required to establish the access. The Security Administrator will set up the security and will notify the end user when this is complete.

  3. How do I get additional security or change the security I have? (Back to Top)

For changes to your access, please complete the Computerized Information Access request form. This form should also be completed if you leave one department and move to another or if you are leaving the campus.

  4. Once I've turned in my form, how long does it take to get my ID? (Back to Top)

Depending on workload, and that all requirements have been met, the typical turnaround is approximately 5-10 days. If you have questions about the status of your security access request, please contact mailto:cmstrain@csusb.edu

  5. Are my employee ID and password the same for MyCoyote/PeopleSoft? (Back to Top)

Yes. As long as you have activated your MyCoyote account by using your employee ID (00…) and your activation code through IDMS (Identity Management System) https://idms.cms.csusb.edu/idmlogin.html, you may use your employee ID and password for MyCoyote/PeopleSoft.

  6. How do I change my password for MyCoyote/PeopleSoft? (Back to Top)

Login to IDMS (Identity Management System) http://cms.csusb.edu/cms/ldap_activation.jsp using your existing password. Select the Change Password link and proceed by following the instuctions. CSUSB Identity Manager manages all your information system accounts which you have be granted to access (i.e. MyCoyote/PeopleSoft).

  7. What do I do if I can't see everything I need to see? (Back to Top)

Contact IRT Helpdesk (77677). Register a helpdesk ticket to let us know what you feel you are missing, whether it's the ability to view specific information or if you need to see additional departments in your view. We will review your training record to ensure you have been given the appropriate access. We will also review your department security. If we have questions, we may contact your manager to see what access they have authorized you to have.

  8. Where do I send my CIA form? (Back to Top)

All completed and signed CIA forms are submitted to PL2006 IRT/ISO Office.
