Student Hire Corrections
- White Paper distributed and discussed. Lorraine will share White Paper with VP Rincon.
- Correction mode not given to authorized designees after redeployment of student hiring; therefore, 20 designees that provide data entry cannot make corrections, if needed.
- Career Center is still responsible for inputting the I-9’s.
- Three individuals with global security access are: Jenny Cascillas, Adela Cortez, and Toni Garcia
- A mechanism needs to be implemented to track when corrections are made in the system.
- Four Options are given to resolve the “correction” problem – see attached.
- Recommendations
- William A. recommends Option 3 since this is currently a HR process and two people already identified from HR have the global security access.
- Dale W. recommends Option 1 since Career Development is already processing the corrections. Dale suggested if Option 3 is selected that a trial period be established due to the fact that this could be a possible overload on the department.
- Option 3 has been approved by the committee and will be reevaluated at the end of 2003.
- David D. suggests quarterly training of the data entry designees.
- Lorraine F. to request a HR Issues report from the Help Desk and forward to Dale W.
Bonus Plan
- The Executive Committee confirmed that the use of a bonus plan would be considered for implementations only – not upgrades. Other options such as stipends would be considered for upgrade projects.
- In the future, bonus plans will be considered at the beginning of each implementation phase.

- This agenda item was brought back to the table. Hand out distributed and discussed.
- The budget will be presented at VP Council for approval after itemizing each line item.

- Muriel Vita is currently working the business process guides.
- A meeting will be scheduled with Lorraine F., William T., Sheryl P., and Kathy H. regarding bringing the implementation team together at an earlier stage.
