Activate Your MyCoyote Account Instructions
On the next page, you will be asked to login to CSUSB Identity Manager.
CSUSB Identity Manager activates your account, change your password,
and reset your password when needed. If you have questions,
click on one of the thumbnail images at the top of the next page.
Step 1. Login CSUSB Identity Manager
Type in your Coyote ID in the User ID field and your account activation code in the password field.
Click the Login button and the user main menu will appear.
If you have already created a new password through CSUSB Identity Manager, you do not need to
activate your account again.

Step 2. Change Password
Click "Change Password".

After enter your new password, check "Change Identity system user and all resource accounts".

When you do, a Change Password Status page will appear. Click OK to return to the main
menu page.
Step 3. Authentication Questions
On the user main menu, click "Change Answers to Authentication Questions".

Enter your answers to authentication questions, and then click Save. If you forget your password,
the system will prompt you for the answers to those authentication questions associated with your account.

Click ok on Change Answers Results page.
Step 4. Logout & Close Your Browser Window
Click the Logout button in the upper right corner and then CLOSE YOUR
BROWSER WINDOW AND RETURN TO YOUR PREVIOUS LOGON SCREEN.
Login using your 9 digit Coyote ID number and the NEW password you just established.
