Browser Setting in IE 7


If you use the Windows Internet Explorer 7 and it has pop-up block problem for downloading, you would solve it by changing its browser settings.

  1. On the Windows Internet Explorer 7
    • Select the tool menu.
    • From the drop-down list, select Internet Options menu item.
  2. The Internet Options dialog opens.
    • Click the Security tab.
    • By default, security level is set as “Medium.”
    • Click the Custom level… button.
  3. Security Settings-Trusted Site Zone box appears.
    • Scroll down until Downloads icon shows.
    • If Automatic prompting for file downloads is disabled, choose Enable.
    • If File download is disabled, choose Enable.
    • Click the OK button.
    • Internet Explorer dialog box may show a warning on the change in the setting.
      • Click Yes.
  4. Security level for the zone will be changed to Custom after the setting is changed in previous steps.
    • Click the Apply button.
    • Click the OK button.
