Cookie Error
If you are seeing cookie errors and you have ensured that your browser
is set to accept cookies:
- Please be sure that your browser is up to date and that you are using
a browser which has been tested with MyCoyote. You can check the system
requirements by clicking here.
- Depending on how you connect to the Internet, you may be behind a
firewall, a proxy server, or a web caching system which could interfere
with how cookies are set. You may need to contact your Internet service
provider or the system administrator of your department to find out
if they are running one or more of the above, and if there is a way
around it.
- Please make sure that your system clock in your computer is set to
the current date and time as this can cause problems with setting the
cookie correctly.
Clearing Cache and Deleting Cookies
Clearing your browser cache or deleting your cookies is sometimes needed in order to ensure all CMS functionality is working properly.
Internet Explorer is the Recommended Browser. When pages are accessed on a regular basis, it is recommended that you clear your cache weekly so you are always viewing the latest version of the page. Though deleting your cookies should be done sparingly, at times it is necessary. Most often it is needed after a new release of the database or when a new version of the home page is made available.
